The Centre for Advanced and Professional Education (CAPE) at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS was established in May 2016 and offers flexible post-bachelor degree opportunities via sustainable programmes and modules of professional short courses. Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS is the premier private higher education institution in Malaysia. It is operated by the Institute of Technology PETRONAS, a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), and is governed by the Private Higher Education Institutions Act of 1996. As a partner to industry, the Centre for Advanced and Professional Education (CAPE) at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS aims to provide flexible learning opportunities and access to the university's intellectual resources for diverse learners. Conveniently located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's golden triangle, CAPE offers external stakeholders easy access to the university's research and instructional resources, as well as a range of rental spaces, including classrooms, seminar rooms, telepresence meeting room, discussion rooms, an e-library, and open office areas. These spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as projectors, screens, and writing glasses, to meet contemporary pedagogical standards. Through close collaboration with the industry, we provide career-building programmes and modules that will be a platform for the development of new skills and the opportunity to self-re-skill and mould lifelong learners through a mixture of problem-based learning and blended learning.
